By submitting your laptop for repair, you agree to allow Fix My Laptop to inspect, diagnose, and perform repairs on your device. We will notify you with an estimate of costs before starting any repair work. All repairs are subject to the approval of the customer.
We offer free diagnostics for basic checks. However, for more extensive diagnostics (such as complex hardware issues), we may charge a fee, which will be communicated to you before starting any work.
Repair costs are determined based on the type of repair and the parts required. You will receive an upfront estimate, and the final price will not exceed this estimate unless additional issues are discovered during the repair process. Any changes will be communicated and approved by you before proceeding.
Full payment is required upon completion of the repair. Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, or other payment methods accepted by Fix My Laptop. We reserve the right to refuse service if payment is not received.
All repairs are covered by a limited warranty. The length and terms of the warranty depend on the type of service and parts used. Warranty details will be provided upon completion of the repair.
We use high-quality, brand-specific replacement parts. In some cases, third-party parts may be used to ensure the best value and compatibility. All parts are covered by warranty according to manufacturer terms.
We recommend that you back up all data before bringing in your laptop for repair. While we take all precautions to protect your data, Fix My Laptop is not responsible for any data loss during the repair process. If your laptop requires a system reset or reinstallation of software, we may need to delete or erase data to perform necessary repairs.
Repair times vary depending on the issue and parts availability. We aim to complete repairs in a timely manner and will provide you with an estimated timeframe before starting the work. In case of delays, we will notify you immediately.
If a device is left unclaimed for more than [X] days after the repair is completed, Fix My Laptop reserves the right to charge a storage fee or dispose of the device.
Fix My Laptop is not responsible for any pre-existing damage to the device or any additional issues that arise after the repair process. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of use, or loss of business.
